Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Adventure Series Nepal. Our representative will provide you with essential information about Kathmandu, including local customs, attractions, and general tips for an enjoyable stay. As you travel through the bustling streets of Kathmandu, you'll experience the vibrant culture, colorful markets, and architectural wonders that define the city.

The adventure begins with a one-and-a-half-hour drive to Sundarijal, located at the foothills of the Kathmandu Valley and the starting point of our trek. The trail leads into Shivapuri National Park, offering scenic beauty and tranquility. The trek to Chisapani takes about 5 hours, where you can enjoy panoramic views and lush surroundings.

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise, with early rays illuminating the mountains. After breakfast, embark on a six-hour trek to Khutumsang. The trail passes through terrace fields and meadows, offering stunning mountain views. You'll reach Pathi Bhangyang, a small local settlement, and then continue uphill to Gul Bhangyang before descending to Khutumsang.

Today's trail is filled with rhododendron forests and luscious woods, with no permanent human settlements. The trek is steep and more challenging compared to previous days. The trail leads to Yuri Danda, offering majestic mountain views. Afterward, you'll reach a place with a few lodges and continue hiking upwards to Tharepati.

This is an interesting day of the trek as you will observe the different cultures and lifestyles of the region. The trek to Tarke Gyang takes about 6 hours. First, the trail moves east of the ridge and descends to the beautiful Melamchi village, home to Buddhist stupas and a monastery visited by the respected monk Guru Rinpoche. Continuing the trek, you'll pass through human settlements and visit the oldest monastery in the region. Helambu is a term for a collection of Tamang and Sherpa villages.

Today's trail is easy, taking you through dense forests, waterfalls, and offering stunning views. You'll come across many villages and see locals making traditional beverages. From Gangyul, you'll move ahead to Sermathang, a beautiful settlement with a few Buddhist monasteries.

After breakfast, trek towards Melamchi, enjoying views of green hills and forests. A vehicle will be waiting for you at Melamchi Bridge to take you back to Kathmandu safely. The drive through twisting roads will bring you back to the capital city, concluding your memorable trek.
