Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Adventure Series Nepal who will be waiting for you at the airport. They will assist you with your luggage and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. You can relax and enjoy the comfortable ride as you make your way to your accommodation. During the transfer, our representative will provide you with any necessary information or answer any questions you may have about your stay in Kathmandu. Once you reach your hotel, you will complete the check-in process and have the rest of the day to unwind and settle in. Take this time to rest, refresh, and prepare yourself for the exciting adventures and experiences that await you in Nepal.

The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes approximately 6 hours, covering a distance of about 200 kilometers. The journey offers scenic views of the countryside, lush green hills, and traditional villages along the way. You will start by leaving Kathmandu and gradually descend into the Trishuli River valley, passing through small towns and terraced fields. The road winds through hills and forests, offering glimpses of rural life in Nepal. As you approach Pokhara, the landscape opens up to reveal the stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Enjoy the picturesque scenery and the anticipation of reaching the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, which is known for its tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking natural beauty.

After departing from Pokhara, you will embark on a scenic drive to Hile, which takes approximately 3-4 hours, depending on the road conditions and traffic. The drive offers panoramic views of the countryside, terraced fields, and traditional villages. Upon reaching Hile, you will begin your trek to Ulleri. The trekking trail from Hile to Ulleri takes around 3-4 hours, depending on your pace and breaks along the way. As you ascend, you will pass through lush forests, charming villages, and stone steps. Ulleri is a picturesque village located at an elevation of approximately 2,070 meters (6,791 feet), offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Take in the natural beauty, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and immerse yourself in the serenity of the trek. The trek from Hile to Ulleri provides an opportunity to experience the unique landscapes and cultural diversity of the region. The trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani is a scenic and rewarding part of your Annapurna adventure. Covering approximately 9 kilometers, it typically takes around 5-6 hours to complete. The trail ascends through lush forests and charming villages, offering stunning mountain views along the way. Ghorepani, situated at an elevation of around 2,874 meters, is the highlight of this trek. Here, you can relax, appreciate the panoramic vistas, and immerse yourself in the tranquil mountain atmosphere. Enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas before settling into one of the cozy lodges for the night.

From Ghorepani, you will rise early for a morning hike to Poon Hill, known for its breathtaking sunrise views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After capturing the beauty of the sunrise, you will return to Ghorepani for breakfast. Following that, you will trek to Tadapani, covering around 7 kilometers in approximately 4-5 hours. The trail takes you through enchanting rhododendron forests, offering occasional glimpses of the snow-capped peaks. Tadapani, situated at an elevation of about 2,630 meters, provides a serene setting to relax and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. Rest in comfortable lodges and savor a warm meal before continuing your trekking adventure in the Annapurna region.

From Tadapani, trek to Ghandruk, covering around 9 kilometers in approximately 3-4 hours. Descend through forests and terraced fields, enjoying mountain views and village encounters. Ghandruk, at 1,940 meters, is a charming Gurung village with traditional houses and friendly locals. Explore, relax, and spend the night in comfortable lodges, immersing yourself in the beauty and culture of the area.

In Ghandruk, take time to explore the village and its cultural attractions. Visit the local museum to learn about the Gurung community and enjoy a leisurely walk to appreciate the scenery. Afterwards, drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara, a journey of around 2-3 hours covering 42 kilometers. Enjoy the picturesque views along the way, including the Annapurna range. Once in Pokhara, relax at your hotel and take the opportunity to explore the city and its famous attractions, such as Phewa Lake and the Peace Pagoda. This day allows you to appreciate the cultural and natural highlights of Ghandruk before transitioning to the vibrant city of Pokhara.

The drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu lasts around 6-7 hours, covering about 200 kilometers. The route showcases beautiful countryside, including valleys, fields, and villages. As you approach Kathmandu, the scenery shifts from rural to urban. Rest stops along the way offer opportunities to stretch, enjoy refreshments, and admire the surroundings. Once in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel, marking the end of the drive and allowing you to relax, reflect, and explore the lively capital city.
