Nepal, a country located in the southern part of Asia is considered to be the lap of the Himalayas. The country is full of natural resources. A well-known trekking route in Nepal’s Annapurna area is the Annapurna Base Camp trek. One of the most beautiful treks in the world, it offers amazing vistas of the Himalayan mountain range, including the magnificent peaks of Hiunchuli, Machapuchare, Annapurna I, and Annapurna South.
HOW DOES ANNAPURNA TREKKING START?
We start the journey from Kathmandu, then travel to Pokhara. From Pokhara we travel to Nayapul where it is the last destination for the vehicle. Usually the trek is 12 to 15 Days. We start on foot from there. We hike Nayapul to Ulleri and from Ulleri to the beautiful village of Ghorepani. On the way we visit Poon hill from where we can see the mesmerising view of sunrise and sunset. On the way we come across Chhomrong village, Dovan village, Deurali village. These villages provide you with authentic Nepalese lifestyle experience. You get to see the way of living of people there, you can get to experience their culture, you can get to know their livelihood and you get to experience Nepalese food. On the way you get to see the diverse plants and animals. There are beautiful rivers, ponds and waterfalls on the way. The water flowing in the river directly comes from the himalayas. You can get to experience the natural hot spring ont the way. It is located on Jhinu Danda. Natural hot spring provides you a way to relax your body and mind. We get to view various species of birds and animals too on the way. People use horses and donkeys to transport the necessary resources like food and other things to the himalayan region. From Deurali village, our next destination is Machhapuchre Base Camp. It’s a beautiful, stunning place. The place is surrounded by mighty mountains all over. Glowing white snow all over the place can be seen. Machhapuchre Base camp is at the height of 3700m. Weather is comparatively colder there so you need a down jacket and a trouser that can withstand the cold there. Machhapuchre Base Camp to Annapurna Base camp takes almost 4 – 5 hours hike. In Annapurna, lodging is arranged in conventional, vintage-styled homestays. Locals in the region run a variety of shops and tea establishments. You will be able to sample a variety of foods from the region’s many ethnic communities. People are in awe of the floral and faunal magnificence of the Annapurna Trekking, also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. As you go to a greater height, you are given a view of the entire oval-shaped sanctuary. You will be left stunned by the breathtaking vistas of this preserved relic encircled by the mysterious mountains.
